ELITE RACING
The elite racing at the 2012 IG London Nocturne will follow a different format to previous years with two races, the Elite Elimination and the Elite Criterium.
Ten pro teams will be taking part in the races. Confirmed teams include:

One rider from each team will race in the elimination and a maximum of six will race in the main criterium (details below).
ELITE CRITERIUM
Up to six riders per team - race duration will be 50 minutes plus 3 laps.
Start time approx 21:15.
ELITE ELIMINATION
The race will feature one rider from each of the 10 pro teams. The riders will start in a group and will have two free laps before the elimination begins. On the third lap the last rider across the line will be eliminated - one rider will then be eliminated each lap until three riders are left. At this point, the bell will be rung and the three remaining riders will race for podium places over the final lap.
Start time approx 19:30.
Prize money will be awarded for both races.
